UPCOMING EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS At this time of the year "Hope Springs Eternal" It is Cam's intention, based on preparation time, to offer several upcoming courses. In the fall the ESCHATOLOGY COURSE will resume with a look at the Olivet Discourses. The various options of interpretation will be reviewed. In the spring of 2010 the long awaited course on CELTIC CHRISTIANITY will be offered. Cam has just about completed an extensive study of this subject and now feels confident to begin to teach the subject. A fourth MARRIAGE COURSE will be offered in the future, featuring a complete Bible study on an often unread and misunderstood book of the Bible on the subjects of relationships and love. I
ALTERNATIVE ENERGY GROUP is expanding their task description to include energy use reviews and recommendations to the Property Committee on how to save on cost. If you would like to participate with this group looking into solar energy and energy conservation, please let Cam know.
HISTORY - While the congregation's 150th anniversary is still seven years away (2014), Cam would like to begin to collect stories about the church and its people before more of our history is lost. If you have some stories about people, times, and events, please write them down and submit them to Cam. They will be included in an updated historical record of the church. Thank you!

SUNDAY - JUNE 28 - CHURCH FAMILY PICNIC !! The annual church family picnic is being held on Sunday, June 28th at 1:00 (dinner at 2:00) The picnic will be at the Ox Roast Pavilion in Harrison Hills Park in Natrona Heights. Please join us and bring your entire family!! Hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and all paper products will be supplied compliments of the Deacons and the Christian Education Committee. Attendees are asked to please bring a salad, a covered dish or a dessert! Fun and games will be had by all, as well as great conversation and fellowship! Bring lawn chairs if you want to sit in the grass and soak up the sun!
VBS = Vacation Bible School!! VBS at NHPC will be held August 3rd through August 7th! VBS starts at 6 PM with dinner in the gymnasium and will continue with lessons, games and other activities until 8:30 PM. This year we will spend a week on a game show! Join us for fun when we 'GO Studio, GO!'
The Nursery is now available during the Sunday School session and Thursday evening during Bible Bunch and the Informal Service
